Real Estate Market Commentary MARCH 26th

As was expected, there was not a whole lot happening over the Easter long weekend, but the Auction results were still firm.

Of the 56 properties listed for Auction, 27 sold and 5 were withdrawn – the preliminary clearance rate is 71% which is consistent with the way things have been travelling this year.

The good news, there was a few good sales and the Median price of property cleared was $1,160,000. Typically I think this figure shows that there is a higher number of more expensive property being sold, but I thin it is actually showing a consistency in pricing. Obviously, showing that prices have risen but have remained at this level which could be what has driven the strong trading style property market we are currently still in.

Thomas Merriman.
