SYDNEY AUCTION RESULTS – 5TH SEPTEMBER

It is officially Spring, which means, it is officially selling season.
Great, maybe now we will see the market really start to move after a quiet Winter?
… I’m being facetious.

With Spring selling season underway and Saturday being a lovely day, it seemed buyer sentiment was out in bundles at the weekend with good prices, good clearance rates and buyer number strong again at open homes.

There was originally 817 Auctions scheduled to take place with 633 reported to have taken place and of that, 512 were reported to have been sold under the hammer.

Cutting to the chase the Auction Clearance Rate in Sydney climbed up again slightly to 75% judging by the figures I have read today, could this be a new beginning of growth heading into the warmer season?

We also experienced a level high with the median sale price at Auction still strong at $1,150,000.
