SYDNEY AUCTION RESULTS – 4TH JULY

A cold weekend at Auctions this weekend gone but numbers are still, STILL tracking well.
It seems now that people are starting to get back on the band-wagon for the positives regarding this market, after spending weeks reading about ‘blood-baths’ and ‘bubbles’.

There has been some popular chatter about the continuation of good selling with people even speculating a further price rise.
I am not as certain that prices will rise but certain that property will remain popular in Sydney.

Auction Clearance rates at the weekend were at 83% and median sale price for property cleared at Auction was $975,000.

It will be interesting to see, while we are at the coldest – weather wise, once we hit the warmer months, if the market will actually pick up.
